First Line Management Training: -

The programme will allow to gain skills and knowledge that are directly relevant to working or further training in the management sector, demonstrate knowledge and skills to standards recognized by the management sector as appropriate, and develop work habits and practice appropriate for further training and employment in the management sector. The flexible structure of the qualification enables individuals and organizations to select outcomes that meet the diverse roles and context required by a wide range of industries

The benefit to the candidate’s organization is that the work-based assignment should be based on real work activities and can be agreed with their line manager to address a current business need. The completed assignment is externally marked by the ILM.

The selection of the topics will depend on the areas which the candidate wants to develop either in relation to their current role, or to a role they aspire to. The selection process will take place either during or shortly after the Induction workshop.

The course is also ideal for anyone who is being developed towards a First Line Management position.
